Sometime chapped or dry lips are a very common problem that can be painful and unattractive. The basic symptoms of chapped lips are dryness, redness, cracking, flaking, and tender or sore lips.
● Running your tongue over your lips is the worst thing you can do for them. As your saliva dries, it takes more moisture from your skin. Reach for your lip balm instead.
● Wash a handful of rose petals thoroughly in water. Soak the petals in milk for a few hours. Mash the rose petals into a thick paste. Apply the paste on your dry lips two to three times a day.
● Try coconut oil on your lips to help.
● Before applying any sort of ointment, remove the dead skin using an exfoliation method. This will expose the fresh skin and help your lips start to heal. Don’t rub your lips too harshly – that could make things worse. Gently massage them.
